Today we celebrated the 77th annual Glasgow Taxi Outing Fund trip to Troon with a brilliant buzz generated in Glasgow, Ayrshire and across Scotland.

As always Glasgow Taxis was extremely proud to support the event and equally proud of every driver who gave up their time to make for such a magical day for the children – and adults!

Today contained all the usual fun and games, colour and costumes, decorations and dancing, smiles and laughter, cheers and tears, plus lots of food, drinks and ice creams.

There are too many people to thank but a hats off to everyone who waved us off from Kelvin Way, saw us through the city and welcomed us to Troon. Unforgettable scenes.

Full credit as always to everyone at the Glasgow Taxi Outing Fund, including all the volunteers, who really are the driving force behind the day and epitome of People Make Glasgow.

Finally, thanks to the teachers, parents, guardians, friends, family and especially the children from all the city’s schools who are the heartbeat of the whole day. See you next year.

Yes, that’s right, we’re back to do it all over again in 12 months time for the 78th time, which is just incredible.
